Razor started their journey with the Razor Kick range of scooters, aimed at the younger riders. Nearly all of the Razor Kick Scooters will be collapsible. The T-bars will fold flat onto the foot plate and secure in place which makes transporting and carrying very easy. Next they will have height adjustable T-bars so the scooter can be adjusted as the riders grow. Razor use lightweight aluminium for their scooters so it will be sturdy and durable yet light for carrying and younger riders. With wheels made of urethane you get a fantastic wear factor yet also great grip with the ground. • 98mm Urethane Wheels
Urethane wheels are going to give you wheels that are going to last. Urethane has fantastic abrasion resistance, and an even bigger factor will be a fantastic grip with the ground. Urethane has brilliant traction but slides when you push hard, so you are able to get some fast speed behind you but still maintain full control of your scooter.
• Foot controlled, detachable Spark Bar
Create a trail of light where ever you go with a spark bar at the rear of the scooter. The spark cartridge creates 20 percent more sparks than other brands on the market thanks to its 5 flint pads. A bonus spark cartridge is included.
• Unique easy folding system
The Razor kick scooters have a quick and easy release and folding system. To release simply place one foot on the deck plate and push joint release lever down. Raise handlebars up until securely locked in the upright position. The joint lever is spring loaded and will automatically lock in the upright position when fully upright.
• Aircraft-grade aluminium frame
The Razor Spark scooter has a classic tough aluminium frame, yet will be light enough to be carried.
• Telescopic T-tube
This will allow the handlebars to be adjusted to suit all heights of riders. All you do is simply open the quick release lever and slide the T bar to the required position, and push the lever back in to place to secure. If the T-bar is raised to the maximum height, depress the push button located directly below the quick release lever to lower the T-bar. The tension of the quick release lever can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the allen bolt. Be careful not to over-tighten. You should always be able to open and close the quick-release lever by hand and the T-tube should slide freely with the quick-release open.
• Patented rear fender brake for quick stops
To operate the break you simply put your foot on the rear fender, which in turn presses down on the wheel, when your foot is released the rear fender springs back up.
• ABEC-5 High Speed Bearings
ABEC is an acronym for Annular Bearing Engineering Committee of the AFBMA (Anti-Friction Bearing Manufacturers Association Inc). The ABEC grades of bearings, is a set of standards for the manufacturing tolerances of bearings. All quality manufacturers around the world manufacture to at least ABEC 1 standard, and anything above this will not affect the speed at which you can go on a scooter.
Always keep your bearings clean and free from dirt. This will increase their life. Do not allow your bearings to dry out naturally. If they become wet, they should be wiped dry and re-greased immediately. This will increase the life of your bearings and ensure a smooth ride.
